A downloadable game for Windows

Thousands of undead on screen. You move, your weapons fire on their own, and every level up decides what your run becomes.

This is the free demo of Apocalipsis Survivor, a zombie horde survivor built in Godot by one person. Full game releases on Steam on November 5, 2026.

WHAT'S IN THE DEMO

- 3 full worlds: the ruined city, the suburbs and the toxic desert

- 2 game modes: Survival and Waves

- 3 playable characters

- All 16 weapons, with their evolutions

- Bosses with their own attack patterns

The third world is where the shooting enemies show up, which is where the game starts asking more of you. That is on purpose: I wanted the demo to include the moment the difficulty turns.

WHAT'S IN THE FULL GAME

10 worlds, 5 game modes, 10 characters, 10 bosses, three difficulty tiers, daily challenges with global leaderboards and a meta progression tree between runs.

CONTROLS

WASD or arrow keys to move. That is it. Aiming is automatic, so you only worry about positioning and about which upgrade you pick.

Gamepad is supported.

FEEDBACK

If you play it, tell me what you think in the comments. I read all of them, and this demo exists mostly so the full release is better. What I most want to know: at what minute did you get bored, and which weapon felt useless.

Available in English and Spanish.

AI Disclosure

Graphics: some of the 2D illustrations (world and game-mode cover art, story-scene illustrations, character portraits, menu background and promotional images) were created with the help of generative AI image tools. Every image was prompted, curated, selected and edited by me.

Sounds: a few of the sound effects were generated with an AI audio tool, then reviewed, level-adjusted and mixed by hand.

Text: the English localization of the game was produced with the assistance of an AI language tool, working from the original Spanish, and reviewed by me.

Code: portions of the source code were written with the assistance of an AI coding tool, always under my direction, review and testing.

Gameplay sprites, user interface and fonts come from licensed third-party asset packs or were made by hand.

The game does NOT generate anything with AI while you play: all content is fixed, and no player data is ever sent to any AI service.

Install instructions

Download the zip, extract the whole folder anywhere, and run ApocalipsisSurvivorDemo.exe.

Keep all the files together: the .exe needs the .pck and the data folder next to it. Windows may warn you about an unknown publisher, which happens with any unsigned indie build. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
